Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is getting the ROCK STAR treatment at the ASEAN SUMMIT in Laos after dishing a swipe at U.S. President Barack Obama on the issue of national sovereignty. Duterte, in his patented style, sent his regrets after the insult gained international prominence. The Philippines was a colony of the United States with all previous Philippine Presidents bowing with respect with hat in hand for American aid. Most Asian countries have been colonies of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands. Photo shows President Duterte in the Philippine national costume, the Barong Tagalog, while the rest of the male country leaders are in the Western Coat and Tie. The Duterte FASHION STATEMENT telegraphs his anti-colonial sentiments.

Duterte sa Laos: Makabayang Pananamit

Sa SHOWBIZ may GRAND ENTRANCE at FASHION STATEMENT, kay Digong may NATIONALIST ATTIRE. Kung sa ASEAN SUMMIT lahat ng pinuno ng mga bansa ay magsusuot ng COAT and TIE, eh de parang tumitingala sila sa mga BANYAGA. Pinakikita nila na bago ang sarili nilang mga bayan, may MAS MATAAS na PWERSA na hindi matitinag. Kaya tuwing may paguusap tungkol sa pangangalakal, talo tayong mga maliliit sapagkat sa suot pa lang bistado na takot tayo sa mga DAMBUHALANG bansa at ekonomiya.

Sa pananamit ni Digong na nagsuot ng Barong Tagalog (mind you, hindi sila ininsulto sa pagsuot ng Maong Tagalog), ipinahihiwatig niya na Pilipinas ang nauuna sa kanyang puso at isipan at handa niya ipaglaban ang mga Pilipino. Dapat ang Estados Unidos at Tsina ay maramdaman na hindi bastabastang TITIKLOP ang Pinas sa pamumuno ni Tatay Digong. Ang mga PATUTSADA ni Pangulong Duterte, sabay atras, ay PSY WAR lang ni Digong sa mga kalaban. Hirap silang tantsahin kung kakamayan sila o mumurahin. Hindi tuloy sila makahirit ng mga bagay kung saan LAMANG ang sarili nilang mga bansa sa ikasasama o ikalulugi naman ng mga MILIIT na bansa kagaya ng atin. Yan ang rason kung bakit kinikilala si Digong na ROCK STAR ng ilang kasali sa ASEAN SUMMIT pinangungunahan na ng bansang Hapon.

Duterte in Laos: International Rock Star

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is in hot water for insulting the outgoing President of the United States, Barack Obama. Digong, as the Chief Executive of a once United States colony, did not take it well when he was informed that Barrack would raise the issue of extra-judicial killings in the ASEAN Summit in Laos that both would be attending. Duterte asserted that the Philippines is an independent country and that no foreign power, including the United States, could interfere with Philippine internal affairs. No other Philippine President has been that blunt and in-your-face with the only remaining world SUPERPOWER. To put the Philippines in the proper context, a greater majority of Filipinos LOVE the United States to the ultimate irony where FEWER Americans love their own country as much as the Filipinos do based on an international survey. In other words, the Philippines ranked first (percentage of population) while the United States ranked second in terms of LOVING the U.S. of A. For Duterte to get away with a SWIPE on the former colonial master is a huge political BLUNDER or a brilliant calculated move to endear himself more to the Filipino people because he is on PHENOMENAL HEIGHTS as far as popularity surveys are concerned. Now that he is in the INTERNATIONAL SCENE, can he expand his single country ROCK STAR STATUS and conquer the world? The likes of Russia, China and lately, Turkey, have running feuds with the United States so there is a possibility they will court the Philippines to JUMP SHIP and move over to the other side. How about Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand? Will they SNOB the BRASH Duterte or crown him as the SPOKESPERSON of the Third World in an effort to fight for greater economic benefits and lesser political interference from the leading industrialized nations?
