Miriam Dapat Nang Umatras Dahil Mahinangmahina Na
Aquino Administration former Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto Romulo graced the official campaign kick-off political rally of Presidential candidate Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Vice Presidential aspirant Senator Alan Peter Cayetano. This is the “first sighting” of a P-Noy former or current cabinet member PUBLICLY seen showing support to an opposing ticket. President Aquino and the Liberal Party have officially endorsed former Senator and former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas for President and Representative Leni Robredo for Vice-President. Roxas and Robredo have both lagged in their respective presidential and vice-presidential surveys. The rumor mill has it that President Aquino may DUMP either or both of the Liberal Party standard bearers.
There is a huge stake for President Aquino with respect to INEVITABLE criminal charges being filed against him once he steps down from office on June 30, 2016. A possible BRIBERY CASE in relation to the Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona impeachment proceedings plus the UNCONSTITUTIONAL DAP and PDAF pork barrel funds scam are just a few of the controversies that could land P-Noy in JAIL. It is to his OBVIOUS ADVANTAGE if Mar Roxas wins the Presidency although that development looks OVERLY OPTIMISTIC at this stage of the campaign. Aquino is “close” to current presidential survey front runner Senator Grace Poe (although she spurned his offer for her to run as the Vice Presidential candidate of Mar Roxas) but at least she states that she would continue the current administration’s Tuwid Na Daan (Straight Path).
Aquino is currently at odds with Vice President Jejomar Binay, also running for President, and the VP has openly stated that he would use the full force of the law against President Aquino if he (Binay) wins the Presidency. Binay has his own legal problems related to graft and corruption charges so that if he wins the Presidency he would be immune from criminal and civil law suits while in office at the same time that a LOSS in May 2016 would most PROBABLY see him in JAIL for PLUNDER cases.
Mayor Duterte is the UNKNOWN FACTOR since he is hard on criminality, drugs and graft and corruption but basically silent on whether he would hound Noynoy Aquino if he (Duterte) wins the Presidency. The sighting of former Senator and former DFA Secretary Romulo can thus be interpreted as a personal show of support to Duterte at the same time that he (Romulo) could be used as a P-Noy conduit to Duterte if the Davao Mayor is elected President and President Aquino steps down on June 30, 2016 and faces a DELUGE of COURT CASES on the next working day (July 1, 2016) when CRIMINAL CHARGES would be filed as promised by the militant Left. At the very least, the Romulo visit could be the start of JUNKING SEASON (junking Mar, that is) since Mar has always trailed badly in the surveys and practical politicians do not want to be associated with LOSERS so they seek an audience with the other Presidential contenders (Poe, Binay and Duterte).

Duterte Comelec Disqualification Cases DISMISSED

Comelec division junks Duterte disqualification cases
MANILA, Philippines – Voting unanimously, a division of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) dismissed yesterday all disqualification cases filed against presidential aspirant Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
In a 50-page resolution, the commissioners of the First Division denied for lack of merit the four petitions seeking to disqualify Duterte from the presidential race.
“The Comelec body has ruled that the punisher will live to die another day. It was a unanimous decision,” Commissioner Christian Robert Lim told reporters.
Apart from Lim, the Comelec body is composed of Commissioners Rowena Guanzon and Luie Tito Guia.
The poll body consolidated the petitions filed by broadcaster Ruben Castor, University of the Philippines Student Council head John Paulo de las Nieves, and disqualified presidential bets Elly Pamatong and Rizalito David.
David is also a petitioner in Sen. Grace Poe’s disqualification case, which is awaiting resolution in the Supreme Court.
The petitioners asked the Comelec to cancel Duterte’s certificate of candidacy (COC) for president.
They questioned his substitution for Martin Diño as standard bearer of the Partido ng Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan since the latter indicated in his COC that he was running for mayor of Pasay City and not for president.
The Comelec said Diño’s intent to run for president was clear despite his error.
The poll body cited the failure of Castor and De las Nieves to appear before the poll body during the preliminary hearing of their complaints.
The Comelec commissioners ruled that Diño had filed a valid COC for president, which he can withdraw under Section 73 of the Omnibus Election Code and for which he can be substituted until Dec. 10, 2015.
“The Commission’s First Division finds no material misrepresentations in Duterte’s COC for president. Hence, his candidacy is valid,” the ruling said.
The petitioners have five days to file a motion for reconsideration with the poll body.
According to Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista, Duterte is among six presidential candidates whose names will be included in the ballots, which will be printed at the National Printing Office starting Feb. 8.
The others are Vice President Jejomar Binay, Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Sen. Grace Poe, Liberal Party standard bearer Manuel Roxas II and OFW Family Club party-list Rep. Roy Señeres.
Presidential debates
With the dismissal of the disqualification cases filed against him, Duterte is ready to attend the series of presidential debates to be conducted by the Comelec leading to the May 9 general elections.
Christopher Go, Duterte’s aide, told The STAR yesterday the Davao mayor would not back out from any debate now that his disqualification cases have been junked.
Duterte earlier said he would not attend the debates unless he is declared an official presidential candidate.
The Comelec will hold the first presidential debate in Cagayan de Oro City on Feb. 21.
Duterte welcomed the dismissal by the Comelec of the consolidated petitions seeking his disqualification from the May elections.
“As the mayor stated earlier, he is confident that his COC was valid and can stand legal scrutiny. We respect the legal processes and call on the Comelec to dismiss with finality all the petitions to disqualify him as candidate for president,” a statement sent by Duterte’s camp said.
“In light of this development, we call on our supporters to continue to pray and resist and expose black propaganda circulating that Duterte would be disqualified,” it added.
Duterte calls Mar ‘gay’
Meanwhile, Duterte called Roxas “gay” after the latter criticized him for saying that he would end illegal drugs, heinous crimes and corruption in just six months if elected president.
“I will end drugs, crimes and corruption in six months. My contenders said it’s impossible. Bayot kasi kayo kaya hindi ninyo kaya,” Duterte told a forum organized by the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City yesterday.
Bayot is a Visayan term for gay.
When a reporter asked if he was referring to Roxas, Duterte replied, “Di ba sinabi ko sa iyo, di tama talaga ako (Didn’t I tell you, see I was right).”
Asked if he is willing to make peace with Roxas, the mayor said, “I do not want to talk to losers.”
Duterte said he is confident Roxas will not win.
“Maniwala kayo matatalo yan… hindi yan aabot ng number one (Believe me he’ll lose, he won’t get to number one),” Duterte said.
Roxas earlier said Duterte was hitting him to boost his survey ratings.
Duterte slammed Caloocan City Rep. and LP stalwart Edgar Erice for describing him as “may katok.”
“He is no better than me,” Duterte said, referring to Erice as also being slightly unhinged.
Physically fit
Meanwhile, Duterte’s partner said the mayor has been taking maintenance medicine but reiterated that he is physically fit.
Cielito Avanceña said she is accompanying him in the campaign to check his health condition.
“He is OK. He is not hiding anything from the public. He’s been taking maintenance medicine but he is perfectly OK. He can travel alone,” Avanceña said.
Avanceña used to work as a nurse in the US. She has a daughter with Duterte. She accompanied Duterte to an event organized by the KMP at the UP Diliman.
Avanceña said she reads Bible verses with Duterte before leaving their house to campaign.
When asked about Duterte being a womanizer, Avanceña said that he has changed.
She added Duterte was merely joking when flirting with other women.
“He is really friendly and close to the people,” she said.
She said she would stay in Davao City if Duterte wins as president.

26,896 Facebook SHARES respond to Duterte appeal for help
26,896 SHARES, 11,000 plus Likes with 1,333,286 people reached is what a single post in a Duterte Facebook support page got. Duterte fan page link – https://www.facebook.com/DuterteMMDM is from the Metro Manila Duterte Movement.
It is no secret that MONEY runs Philippine elections. NO MONEY, NO HONEY. The Administration candidate has UNLIMITED funds to buy Facebook sponsored posts. Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has meager funds and he has called upon his supporters to assist in spreading his message to the Filipino electorate. In Facebook, that means mobilizing thousands of volunteers who would spend at least ten minutes per day at a minimum and a total of thirty minutes per day as a more than ideal contribution (the thirty minutes is the total Facebook usage per day dedicated to Digong but that total may have to be divided into three or four blocks, as in morning noon and night to conform with strict Facebook rules against flooding and spamming per single posting). This method of helping out in social media can be done at home, at work or mobile, both in the Philippines and from abroad. SHARING means opening a Duterte support page and choosing one or more posters to be distributed to the account owner’s wall, the walls of his or her Facebook friends, Facebook groups and Facebook fan pages.
The greatest impact can be created if the volunteer owns or manages a Facebook fan page with hundreds of thousands of Likes or is a member of a Facebook group with about a MILLION members or more each.
Attached is the poster initially published last December 22, 2015. This is just a specific example of the number of people reached. There are many other posts that have the hundreds of thousands of
people reached level. The Metro Manila Duterte Movement is coordinating with a number of FB fan page and group administrators for a more coordinated effort.

FACEBOOK COULD DECIDE THE NEXT PHILIPPINE PRESIDENT IN 2016
Social media, specifically Facebook, could be the crucial platform and news distribution system that will determine the next Philippine President in 2016. Traditionally, the incumbent President has the upper hand in choosing an anointed one. It worked once in 1992 when outgoing President Cory Aquino endorsed her Defense Secretary Fidel Ramos in a controversial move that split the administration party. In 1998, President Ramos supported close ally Speaker of the House Jose De Venecia Jr. but the movie star Joseph Estrada won. In 2010, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo raised the hand of her Secretary of Defense Gilbert Teodoro in a move considered to be a “kiss of death” and true enough Teodoro fared miserably (landing at fourth place) compared to the winner, current President Benigno Aquino lll. Today, as the popularity and satisfaction ratings of Noynoy Aquino continue to fall due to among others, the Mamasapano incident, the slow Typhoon Yolanda rehabilitation, the Supreme Court losses regarding the PDAF and DAP pork barrel funds (both declared unconstitutional) and a general belief in his incompetence, presumptive Liberal Party nominee DILG Secretary Mar Roxas may not necessarily gain votes by being associated with and endorsed by P-Noy. On the other hand, the ties that bind the two (Roxas gave way to Aquino to run for president and slid down to run as vice-president but lost) are “strong” so Roxas may be stuck with an endorsement from a lame duck president.
The next factor that determines outcomes in political exercises is the traditional mass media. However, due to the introduction and general acceptance of smartphones, laptops, tablets and other hand-held devices, fewer and fewer Filipinos are buying or reading newspapers thus negating possible advantages for candidates with money to burn. Online news is the default position mainly because it is free. There is little experience, however, on the use of the Internet in the determination of winners in national and local elections.
Now, here comes social media, which is credited for the fall of authoritarian regimes in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt. Facebook and Twitter were also instrumental in mobilizing hundreds of thousands of protesters for the anti-pork barrel rallies in the Philippines is 2013. In 2014, social media contributed largely to the Occupy Central (Hong Kong) protest movement. In other words, social media, primarily Facebook, now has a successful history of political mobilizations with spectacular results.
The candidates for national office (President, Vice President and Senators) would best be advised to have a sound social media strategy lest they be swept away by the fury unleashed by blogs, twits and Facebook posts.

New Duterte 2016 Blog – Share contents to the world
Philippine elections have always relied on guns, goons and gold. Money buys everything, from advertising space to votes. 2016 could be the first national elections wherein the outcome will have a winner that did not dominate traditional mass media (radio, TV and newspapers) due to the introduction of the Internet, social media, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- Read this seminal work on how the people can reverse the tide of members of the Philippine ruling class continuously being elected President of the Philippines (President Aquino is the son of a President, Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is the daughter of a President, Former Senator Mar Roxas is the grandson of a President, Senator Bongbong Marcos is the son of a President, Senators JV Ejercito and Jinggoy Estrada are sons of a President and Senator Grace Poe is allegedly the daughter of a President).

4) Share posts from these Duterte pages (some names do not carry the word Duterte because they are just temporarily made available to Digong supporters, said pages would revert to their original page name after May 2016). An individual can SHARE to his/her personal account wall, walls of his/her friends, groups and fan pages. Facebook usually allows 30 similar SHARES per posting. SHARE a number of different posters so as not to alert the Facebook spam patrol. Post between three to four times per day (about 30 SHARES each time). With this particular system, a single personal account can SHARE more than a HUNDRED times a day. REMEMBER, if you open a Duterte page (listed below), try to vary the posts that you SHARE from the same Duterte page. Going from one Duterte page to another and SHARING different posts per page may increase the total allowable SHARES that you can do in a day. DO NOT be too eager as your account may be suspended from sharing for a number of days (up to 30 days). Request your friends and relatives to do the same. The more people we can convince to do these SIMPLE steps every day or, at least, regularly, the greater our coverage of the Filipino voters. This is the only NO COST method that we can think of to BLUNT the huge financial advantage of the Administration candidate who resorts to paid or sponsored advertising
posts. FYI: Studies show that paid ads are given LESS credibility by people exposed to them. On the other hand, your personal endorsements are given GREATER CREDIBILITY by your friends and relatives who get to see your SHARED posts.
