Filipino Japanese Yuka Saso, representing Japan, placed 6th in the Women’s World Championship held in Singapore. She received $62,000 (PHP 3.5 million) as her prize money.

This is her second 6th place in three LPGA tournaments for 2023 having placed 20th in between two top ten finishes.

Saso won the US Open Women’s Golf Championship (a major tournament) in 2021 getting USD 1 million for the feat.
