Change Name of Camp Aguinaldo to Camp Heneral Antonio Luna

Today, Oct.29, is the birthday of General Antonio Luna (Oct.29, 1868-June 5, 1899). The least that we can do for our genuine Filipino patriots – now that we have started to rediscover them, is to rename Camp Aguinaldo to Camp Hen. Antonio Luna; and also rename the PNP Headquarters in honor of Gen. Miguel Malvar, instead of Camp Rafael Crame, who was appointed by the U.S. invaders/colonial authorities to head the Philippine Constabulary(PC). The PC was organized by the American colonizers as their local militia to crush Filipino resistance to U.S. colonial rule.

(Thank you University of the Philippines Professor Ronald Simbulan for the info and suggestion).

The Eat Bulaga Kalye Serye featuring the AlDub love team had their program at the jam-packed 50,000 seating capacity Philippine Arena in Bulacan. The three month old phenomenal success proved all their detractors wrong with this massive mobilization of adoring fans.

After the noontime rival Showtime held an anniversary bash at the 20,000 seating capacity Araneta Coliseum, now comes the phenomenal AlDub Kalye Serye, which has been in existence for only three months, scheduled to appear at the 50,000 seating capacity Philippine Arena on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Ticket outlets are reporting record sales so a SOLD OUT performance is a great possibility. Northern and Central Luzon are still experiencing the effects of massive flooding due to Typhoon Lando but all systems are go for this momentous event in entertainment history. A successful event would further energize the Eat Bulaga Kalye Serye fan base that has seemingly appeared from nowhere with the introduction of YouTube sensation Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza in real life). Eat Bulaga is the noontime production of GMA7 while Showtime is the ABS CBN Channel 2 counterpart. Both media giants are locked in an epic battle for supremacy with ABS CBN generally conceded to be number one but this was PRIOR to the emergence of an unlikely super star in the person of Yaya Dub.

YayaDub still the top story for the week

The top story for the week in the Philippines is STILL the Kalye Serye story of AlDUb (Alden and Yaya Dub) in the top-rating noontime television show Eat Bulaga..

Other stories include the second place finish of Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Championship missing the chance to get an outright berth in the Rio de Janeiro summer Olympics. China won the tournament.

Two members of the Nationalista Party, Senators Antonio Trillanes IV and Alan Peter Cayetano annouced their plans to run for Vice President (against each other) in 2016. Senator Trillanes will be endorsing Senator Grace Poe for President although Senator Poe already announced her official Vice Presidential running mate, Senator Chiz Escudero. Senator Cayetano is trying to be the official Vice Presidential candidate of Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte (should he decide to run for President). Senator Cayetano was previously REJECTED by the Liberal Party to be the running mate of Presidential candidate Secretary Mar Roxas, endorsed by President Benigno Aquino.

The STUPIDEST story of the week involves lewd dancing courtesy of former MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino who has announced plans to run for senator in 2016. Scantily dressed women performing politically-incorrect dance moves on stage during a Liberal Party swearing-in activity went viral. This is another embarrassing moment for President Aquino, Presidential candidate Mar Roxas and the Liberal Party, already mired fending off charges of INSENSITIVITY and INCOMPETENCE.   #DaangMatuwad #TuwadNaDaan #Palpak #Manhid #Stupid
